• Limited to 30 teams
  
  
• Alternate Early and late staggered times as per last year
  
  
• Games 20 minutes a side 5 minutes break at half time. Games will start on time on hooter irrespective of whether all teams are on their pitch. No cancellations, deferrals or swapping fixtures
  
  
• Any team not showing on a night without prior notification can be removed from the tournament at the committees discretion (to ensure that opposition have a game every night)
  
  
• You must check your team in a minimum of 15 mins before your game and a ref will be allocated - if you do not check in your team a composite team may be made up to make sure that everyone who turns up gets a game
  
  
  
• Each team is asked to nominate a referee who may be asked to referee in an emergency and have at least one ball. 8 red and 8 yellow tag belts will be left on the pitch each night. These should not be removed
  
  
• In case of postponement due to wet pitches the games will be played on Monday of next week. If any week cancelled, tourney will be extended by a maximum of 2 weeks
  
  
• All players are asked to purchase multi or rubber stud boots – postponements will only happen in event of possible damage to pitch or dangerous pitch

       SAFETY

• No physical contact
• No blocking with hand
• No defending tags
• No diving on ground
• No charging or intimidation allowed

Rules will be strictly applied by club referees

Continual offenders will be classed as dangerous players and banned from playing.


Yellow and red cards – five minutes and removal from game in operation for dangerous play

Verbal abuse of referees – red card. Replacement allowed.

       RULES

• We are starting off with a female at scrum half at each break down
  
  
• Defending team to be back 5 metres from dummy half
  
  
• Roll ball starts each play
  
  
• Five tags for turnover

• Start of the game or a penalty is a tap and pass - no tap and run allowed
  
  
• Run at spaces, not faces.
  
  Ball carriers must avoid contact Defenders cannot move into a space to cause a collision
  
  
• No kicking
  
  
• Scores: 1 point for male try, three for female when three females on pitch, four when four on pitch and five when five or more on pitch
  
  
• It tags drop off, replace with one of the subs tags and send for replacement
  
  
• Leave tags belt and ball in centre of pitch after first game and after 2nd game please bring all back to Danny at check in desk
  
  
• Only multi stud football boots allowed, no screw in studs or blades for safety of all players
  
  
  
• Please respect the referees
  
  
• 3 rugby players per panel
  - only 2 on pitch per team
